On behalf of the Board of Directors and our 500 members (a new record!), it is my pleasure to welcome you to the web site of the National Association of Presidential Assistants in Higher Education. NAPAHE is an organization dedicated to providing support for those whose careers focus on providing professional support to others.
)While the job titles of our members fit under the larger umbrella of "presidential assistant," the professional skills and responsibilities of our members are as diverse as the institutions they serve. Whether your role is as office manager, board secretary, strategic planner, legislative liaison, or anywhere in between, NAPAHE has something to offer you.
It is an honor to serve as chair of NAPAHE, particularly during NAPAHE's 25th anniversary. We applaud and celebrate the five presidential assistants who gathered in Chicago to plan our first conference in 1987. To honor their vision, we will launch a series of new efforts over the upcoming year. Keep an eye on the news section of our home page for details on exciting professional development opportunities and resources.
