Our Committees

As with any highly effective professional association, members of NAPAHE work together on several committees. As you consider membership in NAPAHE, there is a place for you as a member of one of these committees:

Board
This committee is the governing body of the NAPAHE organization. They actively pursue input from all committee sources, in an effort to provide leadership and direction for the overall promotion of the initiatives set forth in the NAPAHE mission.

Sponsorships
This committee seeks contributions from outside sources in an effort to support the activities of NAPAHE. The primary sources of funding will likely be corporate donations and, where appropriate, gifts-in-kind.

Communication
The Communications Committee coordinates the newsletter, listserv (NAPANet), and website (NAPAWeb). Its goals are to serve the information-sharing needs of NAPAHE members; to publicize NAPAHE's existence, purpose, and values; and to broaden public familiarity with the PA's role in institutions of higher education.

Program
The purpose of the Program Committee is to plan and coordinate the programming for the annual conference. The goal is to develop programs, secure keynote speakers, and provide professional development for members attending the national conference.

Membership
The Membership Committee seeks to continually renew and enrich NAPAHE's membership. The goal is to ensure a membership large enough to provide a broad and diverse human resource and financial base for the association.

Long-Range Planning
As with all organizations, a long-range plan assists with guiding an organization to meet its goals and objectives. Our long-range plan is designed to be dynamic, not static, to ensure that the organization keeps pace with our ever-changing world.

Finance
The Finance Committee works hand-in-hand with the Fundraising Committee to ensure a stable financial base, to look for ways to invest member's dollars, and to build a strong base for future savings and spending.
