Puerto Rico creates local NAPAHE Chapter
Maria L. Hernandez Noa, Executive Assistant to the President at Sistema Universitario Ana G. Méndez, and colleagues, in Puerto Rico are diligently working to create a local NAPAHE chapter. Maria was inspired by her attendance at the NAPAHE annual conference in San Diego, CA and journeyed home to tell the story. The rest is history!
Her local chapter includes invitations to 20 universities throughout Puerto Rico and is now gearing up for their third meeting where they will discuss mission, vision, and objectives. The group plans to send a delegation to the upcoming 2009 NAPAHE conference in Washington, DC. Local chapters are an effective way to share best practices and discuss common challenges throughout the year. NAPAHE extends warm congratulations to our colleagues in Puerto Rico!!

University System of Georgia Announces
Funding for 35 NAPAHE Memberships
Chancellor Erroll B. Davis, Jr., in acknowledgment
of the many contributions made by the Presidential Assistants at the 35
institutions which comprise the
University System of Georgia (USG), has offered a one year membership in NAPAHE
for each of the Presidential Assistants in the USG.
